My name is Aping, and I would like to share the story of my former life lost under Satan's power, and my rebirth in the Lord Jesus Christ.
After I graduated from high school, I started working at a chemical company owned by a family relative, where I essentially served as a business manager. At that time, an average employee earned only 500-600 yuan a month, but on a lucky day, I could earn 1,000-2,000 yuan, sometimes even 3,000-5,000 yuan in a day. I noticed the boss of a neighboring company playing mahjong, card games, and Three Card Poker, and I started to follow their example, gambling and playing mahjong.
Sometimes, when I had a streak of good luck, I could quickly win 1,000-2,000 yuan or even more. However, as I played more and more, I suddenly realized one day that I was losing every day. I never imagined that someone could set up a trap in gambling. At that time, I thought my luck would turn around in a couple of days! But eventually, I lost everything, even the capital for my business, and had no money for food. I later snuck into someone else's fishpond to catch a few small shrimp, and at night, I stole vegetables from someone else's garden to sustain myself.
Gradually, I began to reflect on my actions and resolved to break away from this degenerate, sinful lifestyle. But my gambling friends kept calling me, urging me to win back my losses. When I went back to gambling, I kept losing. I still wanted to win back everything I had lost, so I tried every means possible to deceive relatives and borrow money from friends. Eventually, I lost all credibility among them. My parents almost turned against me, and our family relationships nearly broke down completely.
Later, I saw many people whose families broke apart because of gambling, even leading to separations and divorces. I realized that I couldn't continue down this wrong path and had to completely sever ties with my former self.
At that time, I was just fired from my company, which helped me break away from the gambling circle. I then joined a volunteer charity service organization.
In 2012, I encountered Christianity and accepted Jesus Christ. Before embracing my faith, I only relied on my subjective understanding and feelings to decide what to do. After I became a believer, the Bible provided me with moral standards worth following. Moreover, I found true dependence on the Lord. For instance, when I felt lost or troubled, I could pray and cast all my anxieties on the Lord. Over the years, I have experienced the Lord's faithful help at every crucial moment.
Therefore, my current mental state is excellent; I feel secure and hopeful.

我刚刚高中毕业，毕业以后就到了家里老表开的化工公司上班，相当于做业务经理。当时一般上班族一个月的工资只有500、600块；可是我碰到运气好的时候，一天可以赚1000-2000甚至3000-5000块。我看到隔壁公司的老板在那打麻将、斗地主、玩三公，就学着他们那样开始打牌、打麻将。
有时候手气好的话，很快就能赢1000-2000元甚至更多。可是，慢慢地玩得越来越多了以后。突然间有一天我就发现——怎么天天都是输的？根本没想到这个事情也有人设局。那时候想到可能过两天手气就变好了！可是到后来连工本都输掉了，连吃饭的钱也没有了。我后来跑到别人家的鱼塘里偷偷摸摸地抓了几只小虾，然后晚上又去别人家的菜地里偷菜，来解决我的温饱生活。
后来慢慢内心里开始有了反省，决心脱离这种堕落的、罪恶的生活。
可是那些牌友赌友不停地打电话给我，叫我去赚回本钱。跑过去以后还是不断输, 心里还是想要要把输出去的都给赢回来。于是我就想方设法去欺骗亲戚、向朋友借钱，后来在他们中没有任何的信誉度可言。我父母因此差点跟我反目成仇，家庭关系几乎完全破裂。
我后来看到很多人因为赌博而家庭亲缘关系破裂甚至妻离子散。我想这条错误的道路我实在不能再继续走下去了，一定要彻底跟以前的自己做个了断。
当时我恰好被公司炒鱿鱼了，我得以脱离开以前那个赌博的圈子。后来，我加入了一个志愿者慈善公益服务组织。
2012年我接触到基督教信仰并且归信了耶稣基督。在信仰之前做什么不做什么只能凭借着自己的主观认知和感觉。信仰后，圣经告诉我正确的行为准则。而且有了真正的依靠，就是主。比如，当我内心迷茫、或者心里烦乱时，就可以通过祷告，将一切忧虑都卸给主。这么多年来，每次在关键时刻我都会经历主的信实的帮助。
所以，现在的我整个人的精神状态都会很好；心里踏实，有盼望。
