Mr. Aldrin Bogi, vice president of the Asia Pacific region at Biblica, based in Colorado, visited CCC&TSPM, discussing how to better promote cooperation and the ministry of the Bible when the current print media is facing challenges from various aspects.
Rev. Shan Weixiang, vice president and chief executive of the China Christian Council (CCC), received Aldrin Bogi and Liu Ping, China liaison officer and translation consultant, on June 12 at the station of CCC&TSPM, reported CCC&TSPM.
Rev. Shan said that for a long time, CCC&TSPM had attached great importance to the publication and distribution of the Bible. So far, they have released more than 100 kinds of translations and versions in China, with a total sales volume of more than 89 million. Among them, they have cooperated with Biblica to publish the New International Version (NIV), the Devotional Version, and the Contemporary Translation of the Bible. And the Revised Contemporary Chinese Version (2022 edition) would be available soon, he added.
In addition, Shan introduced the current efforts of the Chinese churches in localizing Christianity and suggested that the Bible ministry in China be sinicized as well. This would enable Chinese people to read and understand the Bible from their own perspective and nurture their spirituality, not only respecting the original text but also catering to modernity and current requirements.
Boji expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation with the Chinese churches in Bible ministry on the premise of fully respecting their wishes. He extended an invitation for Reverend Shan and other CCC&TSPM team members to visit Biblica headquarters.
Co-worker Chen Hongli, head of the publication and distribution team of the Media Department of CC&TSPM, gave the guests an overview of the current situation of domestic Bible publishing.

据中国基督教两会，6月12日上午，中国基督教协会副会长兼总干事单渭祥牧师在本会接待了Biblica亚洲部主任奥准·博济先生（Aldrin Bogi）和中国区联络员兼翻译顾问刘平先生一行。双方就当前纸媒在受到各方挑战的情况下，如何更好地推进圣经事工，促进合作，进行了交流和探讨。
单渭祥牧师表示，长期以来，中国基督教两会十分重视圣经的出版发行工作，迄今已在国内发行各类译本、版本百余种，总量已超过8900万。其中与Biblica曾合作出版了《新国际版》（NIV）圣经、《灵修版》圣经和《当代译本》圣经等，并且不久将有《当代译本修订版》圣经（2022版）问世。
单牧师还向客人介绍了当前中国教会着力开展的基督教中国化事工，强调中国教会的圣经事工同样可以体现中国化精神.不仅可以用中国人的视角去阅读理解圣经，也可以在圣经释译事工上，既尊重原文又能满足现代性和处境性之需求，真正造就中国信徒的灵性健康之需。
奥准·博济表示，愿意在充分尊重中国教会意愿的前提下，继续加强与中国教会在圣经事工方面的合作，并提出邀请单牧师等中国基督教两会的同工重访Biblica总部。
