After many pastors in the audience listened to Li’s sharing, they invited him to share it in their churches. From then on, he began to preach in various churches. In the face of invitations from churches around China, he found it hard to refuse and gradually put the focus of his work on the church. At the same time, he was also worried that if he pursued worldly things again, he may again face God's discipline.
After many years of work in the church, he entered the third phase of his church work - doing it with gratitude. Able to come to this step, Li Jun is especially grateful to the help of the church pastor and God's sustenance along the way, and now he has the safeness and joy that he did not have when he made a lot of money in the past. 在那段令人备受煎熬的岁月里，妈妈小心翼翼地珍藏了宝贝，就是如今被李军弟兄视为传家宝的《新旧约全书》。那时经常找不到，因为总是被妈妈给藏起来了。在那艰难的岁月中还敢保留《圣经》需要很大的勇气。
妈妈年老的时候因为年纪大行动不便很少去教会了。即便如此，老人家最大的盼望依然是孩子们可以去教会，好好信主。如今回想起老人家在世的最后阶段，李军还是忍不住抽泣了起来：“她在床上，一整（经常）就告诉我念主祷文，我们娘俩一起就念着主祷文。我妈当时腿很疼。她跟我说，不要留恋地上的事，我们的盼望是在天上。”

看着不断发展的公司，李军感觉前途一片光明，未曾想，密布的乌云在后面等待着他。在一个上万人参加的运动会开幕的前两天，一场台风将李军的公司挂在高空中的音响刮倒了。虽然没有伤到人，但给他的企业带来不好的影响，此后很少有人敢找他负责大型项目。之后的一场火灾又把他存放器材的库房给烧掉了，令他损失惨重。

二十年前，第一次在教会讲台上分享音响调控知识的经历令他记忆深刻。想到台下坐着牧者以及三百人左右的会众，他非常紧张，提前把祷告词写在一张纸上揣到西服口袋里。但当台下的人们闭上了双眼等待着，他却找不到写好的祷告词了！结果祷告得比提前写的都好，把自己都感动了。接下来半天的分享也非常顺利。大家意犹未尽，教会又给他安排了一整天的分享。
台下的不少牧者听完这次分享后，他们又邀请李军到他们的教会分享。从此，他就开启了到各地教会的授课之旅。面对各地教会的邀约，他不好推辞，逐渐地把工作的重心放在了教会里；同时，他也担心如果自己再跑去追求世界，会再次面临神的管教。
多年工作下来后，他进入了在教会工作的第三个阶段——带着感恩的心去做。能够走到这一步，李军特别感谢教会牧者的帮助以及神一路的托起，如今他拥有了曾经在世上赚大钱时都不曾拥有的平安和喜乐。““我有时候开车的时候，就情不自禁地流泪，但流的是幸福的泪。”他回想以前，那时只知道挣钱，但是挣了钱也不知道要干啥；如今，他把自己的工作视为神赐给他的一个托付，一份沉甸甸的使命。
