Companies in Jiangsu Province jointly donated shower trolleys to the faith-based Amity Foundation, providing bathing assistance services to more elderly people.

On November 8, the donation ceremony for the bathing trolleys of the “Bathing in Love and Doing Good Deeds” program was hosted at the Amity Foundation, reported the Foundation.

General Secretary Ling Chunxiang introduced the history and public welfare achievements of the Amity Foundation, addressing the explorations and practices in elderly care services. She highlighted the significance of this bathing assistance service for seniors, improving the quality of life for the elderly who are left in empty nests and with physical disabilities as well as mental illnesses.

Since 2016, the Amity Foundation has participated in the bathing assistance program for seniors in collaboration with Shanhui Social Work Service Center, supporting over 8,000 elderly people.
