A forum titled "Christian Studies: China's Position and World Vision" in 2022 was held online.
Hosted by the Center for the Study of Christianity at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CSC) on October 29-30, the symposium was organized by the Guangzhong Research Base of CSC and co-organized by the Department of Philosophy of Sun Yat-sen University.
Based on the two different perspectives, in two sub-venues attendees talked about "China's Position in Christian Studies" and "World Vision in Christian Studies". Experts and scholars shared their views and made academic discussions on topics such as "Historical Perspective of Christian Studies in China", "Dialogue and Mutual Immersion between Christianity and Chinese Culture", "Theological Theory and Reconstruction", and "Religion and Cultural Construction".
During the opening ceremony on October 29, select individuals delivered speeches, including Zheng Xiaoyun, president of the Chinese Association of Religious Studies and director of the Institute of World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Zhang Wei, director of the Department of Philosophy at Sun Yat-Sen University, and Rev. Guo Yun, president of the Guangdong Christian Council, Guangzhou TSPM, and head of the Guangzhong Research Base of CSC.
Afterward, experts and scholars made their own keynote speeches, such as "The Enlightenment of Martin Luther's Reform Spirit on Developing Christianity in the Chinese Context", and "The Sinicization of Christianity Based on Chinese Culture and Chinese-style Modernization".
The forum invited more than 50 experts and scholars from research institutions and universities such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Central Academy of Socialism, the magazine China Religion, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Minzu University of China, Fudan University, and Sun Yat-sen University.

10月29日-30日，由中国社会科学院基督教研究中心主办、中山大学哲学系协办、中国社会科学院基督教研究中心广州调研基地承办的2022基督宗教研究论坛暨“基督宗教研究：中国立场与世界视野”学术研讨会在线召开。
基于中国立场与世界视野两个不同视角，本次论坛设立了两个不同的分会场，分别是“基督教研究中的中国立场”和“基督教研究的世界视野”。专家、学者围绕着“中国基督宗教研究的历史视野”、“基督宗教与中国文化的对话与互浸”、“神学理论与重构”、“宗教与文化建构”等议题进行了观点分享与学术探讨。
29日，基督宗教研究论坛开幕式正式举行，中国宗教学会会长、中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所所长郑筱筠，中山大学哲学系主任张伟，广东省基督教协会会长、广州市基督教三自爱国运动委员会主席、中国社会科学院基督教研究中心广州调研基地负责人郭云先后在开幕式上致辞。
随后，开启了本次论坛的主旨发言环节，各位专家、学者分别进行了自己的发言，其中包括《马丁路德改革精神对推动基督教中国化的启示》、《基于中国文化与中国式现代化的基督教中国化》等主题。
本次论坛邀请了来自中国社会科学院、中央社会主义学院、中国宗教杂志社、北京大学、清华大学、中央民族大学、复旦大学、中山大学等多个研究机构、高校的50多位专家、学者出席。
