Scheduled to be held in early December 2020, the tenth International Young Scholars' Symposium on "Christianity and Chinese Society and Culture" is postponed until December 6-8 this year due to COVID-19.
To be held in Chung Chi College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the symposium contains three public lectures, which will be open to all and broadcast live via zoom, according to the Chinese Christian Studies (Chinese CS.cc).
Leung Yuen Sang, Emeritus Professor from the Department of History, CUHK, will give the first public lecture titled "From Young John Allen, Rev. Carl Thurman Smith to Ying Fuk-Tsang: Writing the History of Christianity in China" on the afternoon of December 6.
Huang Ke-Hsien, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology at National Taiwan University, will share the second lecture with the title "Revisiting the Relationship between the State and Church of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan: Transnational Religions and Restricted Party-States from the Surveillance File" the next afternoon.
Thomas Xutong Qu, Tenured Associate Professor of the Philosophy Department of the School of Humanities, Tsinghua University, will then conduct the third lecture focussing on "Barth’s Inheritance and Criticism of Kant from Bart’s Criticism of Religion" on the morning of December 8.

据汉语基督教研究网消息,在延期了一年以后,第十届“基督教与中国社会文化”青年学者国际研讨会将于今年12月6-8日在香港中文大学崇基学院进行。
本届研讨会原定于2020年12月初召开,但是因为新冠疫情的影响而延期。
据悉,研讨会日程中安排了三场公开讲座,每天一场,面向所有人开放,这三场公开讲座将通过网络直播的方式提供给大众。

讲座三由清华大学人文学院哲学系长聘副教授瞿旭彤教授 分享《从巴特的宗教批判看巴特对康德的继承与批判》,
