This year's Forum on the Sociology of Religion was held virtually on September 20. The host published the schedule of the annual forum with the theme of "Study of the Cultural Psychology in the Domain of Sociology of Religion."
The forum was conducted on the Tencent Meeting, one of the most popular live-streaming platforms in China. Speeches were given addressing the following topics: the exploration of theology and practice of cultural psychology order, the study of folk religion, reflection on the study of Christianity and sociology of religion theory, and talks by young scholars. More than ten scholars addressed a speech, each taking about ten minutes. At the conclusion, a scholar commented for 15 minutes.
The speech themes included the reconstruction of mentality order and faith order during modernization, how anxiety about faith has changed and relationships between different generations based on an observation of fire funerals in Sanhe Village, and the relationship between mental health and religion according to a Japanese study. The topics talked about the governance of folk religion in 2019, the analysis of the relationship between rural temples and village society under urbanization, and the study of the approaches to solve the mentality order crisis of individuals in society. Among them, four speeches on Christianity were also given, such as the analysis of the statistics collected in CFPS 2018 (Chinese Christians were estimated to number less than 40 million), the possibility of receiving Christianity into China in the nineteenth century from the perspective of missionaries' cultural adoption, and the interpretation of religious films based on a Christian film about the Bimo culture of the Yi ethnic minority, Looking for the Holy Land.

2020年宗教社会学论坛将在网上举行
日前,2020年宗教社会学论坛主办方发出通知,表示今年的论坛将于9月20日以线上回忆的方式举行。
“宗教社会学吧”官方公众号分享了中国社会学2020年学术年会——“宗教社会学论域中的文化心态研究”论坛的议程。
届时将会在腾讯会议上举行,上午9点开始,下午4点结束,按照主题分为五个单元,分别是:文化心态秩序的理论与实践探索、民间信仰研究、基督宗教研究与宗教社会学理论反思、:青年学者专场、以及最后的总结单元,共有十多位学者先后发言,其中每个单元设有多位发言人轮流发言各自10分钟,最后由一位学者做为评议人发言15分钟。
此次的发言主题包括心态秩序与现代化浪潮中信仰秩序的重构、信仰焦虑与代际关系的变化——基于对三河村火化实践的观察、对心态健康与宗教之间关系的考察——以日本研究为分析、空间与流动:2019年民间信仰治理逻辑、城镇化背景下村庙与村落社会的关系分析、基于当前社会个体心态秩序危机解决的路径研究等。
其中,在第三单元的基督宗教研究与宗教社会学理论反思中,包括“混搭”的基督信仰——基于CFPS2018年的数据分析、从传教士的文化适应谈十九世纪基督教在中国的接受、全球宗教社会学的可能?——当代中国宗教社会学话语体系之思、宗教资本的影像诠释--以凉山彝族毕摩文化主题电影《我的圣途》为例等四个演讲。
