On June 19, the committee and pastor of Jiexi Church in Shima Town, Zhangzhou, Fujian visited Jiang Meiling, the eldest daughter-in-law of Pastor Ouyang Hou. She was the chief physician of the Department of Pediatrics of Union Hospital in Fuzhou before retirement

Pastor Ouyang Hou, a native of Zhangzhou, returned to serve in Shima Jiexi Church in 1929 after seven years at the Kinmen Church. Then Pastor Hou Raised funds from overseas for Xunyuan Middle School run by the church in Zhangzhou. On March 4, 1948, he arrived in Singapore by ship from Xiamen after nearly a week. He preached the Word of Lord in Singapore until 1966, and rested in the Lord's arms at the age of 88.

During the National Day, Jiang Meiling was visited again. Sitting in a wheelchair to share the beautiful witnesses of Pastor Hou, she as well as her son handed the relics of her father-in-law and the title deeds of his former residence, a two-story building next to the Jiexi Church with a total area of 225 square meters, and other materials over to the senior pastor of Jiexi Church. They donated the pastor's former residence to the church without compensation, and signed the power of attorney for the management of the former residence.

After the Jiexi Church was entrusted with the management of the former residence of Pastor Hou, it carried out the work of protecting the old residence by reorganizing and maintaining. A place was opened as the Pastor Ou's memorial hall inscribed by Rev. Chen Lifu, the president of Fujian Provincial CC&TSPM.
