A thanksgiving service of the establishment of a volunteer service department in Longgang, Zhejiang, was held.
In the thanksgiving service for Longgang Light and Salt Love Service Center conducted on October 4, more than 100 believers who were engaged in social service from 52 churches and sites attended, according to Longgang CC&TSPM.
Elder Cai Shouxing, executive deputy president of Longgang Municipal CC&TSPM, preached a sermon with the theme "Love and Dedication", encouraging attendees to do good to all people, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
Next was followed by an establishment ceremony for the center. Elder Yang Jiehua, chairman of Longgang CC, said in a speech that the center was set up in accordance with the Bible’s teaching "add the love for everyone else to brotherly kindness".
Approved by Longgang Ethnic, Religious, and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, the center aims to help the victims and vulnerable groups within society by carrying out various forms of social relief activities.
Finally, people made contributions to the center.

浙江龙港市基督教光盐爱心服务部成立暨感恩礼拜，于2021年10月4日下午隆重举行，来自全市教会52个堂点，共100余位热心服务社会弟兄姊妹出席成立大会。

接着举行了光盐爱心服务部成立典礼，市基督教两会主席杨介化长老作出讲话，讲到：就成立“光盐爱心服务部”暨遵照圣经“有了爱弟兄的心，又要加上爱众人的心”的教导，帮助社会上受灾群众和弱势群体，开展多种形式的社会救助活动。“龙港市基督教光盐爱心服务部”报龙港市民族宗教侨务局同意成立。
