Believers and pastoral staff from churches in Yicheng district donated 50,000 yuan for flood-hit Henan Province.

Yicheng District CC&TSPM in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, held an emergency meeting on July 25, calling on churches in the whole district to launch prayer and fundraising activities for the disaster-stricken province, according to Jesus Church in Yicheng District.

The charitable contributions were transferred to the Red Cross Society of Yicheng District that would deliver them to people in the disaster areas.

In recent days, many places in Henan Province have been hit by unusually heavy rains and floods, causing serious loss of life and property.
