The inaugural meeting and unveiling ceremony of the Contemporary World Cult Research Center in Shaanxi were held at the School of Philosophy and Government Management of Shaanxi Normal University on July 15.

Leaders, experts, and scholars from the Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Commission, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau and Shaanxi Normal University attended the inaugural ceremony, according to Shaanxi CC&TSPM.

Rev. Wang Jun, chairman and president of the Shaanxi Provincial CC&TSPM and deputy chairman of the Provincial Anti-cult Association, was invited to give a speech, expressing warm congratulations on the establishment of the center. After the plaque awarding ceremony, a keynote speech was delivered.
