The 37-year-old woman was detained on May 14 for “picking quarrels and making trouble” then was sent to the prosecutor’s office in Pudong New Area.
With an undergraduate degree from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, she was came to Shanghai in 2010. Formally working as a lawyer, her practice license was cancelled due to her defense of human rights.
