On October 28, Christian Singer Jing Chang announced that she would hold a music concert in November.
The Taiwanese singer also talked about her Christian faith journey during the past four years. At the end of 2018, she fell into a deep trough. She took medications in an effort to end her life. Fortunately, her faith became her last hope. A voice told her: "My child, don't treat yourself like this, I love you so much!” This voice made her willing to give herself another chance to live and begin to face life and what she thought were complete failures.
Chang wrote on China's Twitter Weibo: “Walk through the shadow of death, Jing Chang will sing again after four years. Classic memories of twelve years of my singing career!
Jing Chang, who has not held a paid concert for four years, won the championship in the show "Super Idol" in 2008 and then began her career as a singer. However, during her twelve years as a singer, the road to stardom has not been smooth.
Four years ago, with the support of her good sister, Shadya, who is also her instructor and companion, she released her solo album "Singing for failure", which she believed was "risking everything". However, rather than making a comeback, her attempt backfired. She reached a low point when she was without a job for more than eight months.
Feeling that she was chosen by God and rescued from the shadow of death, Jing Chang re-examined her heart, took off the halo and baggage of the artist, and decided to work hard to "survive".
Chang received encouragement from her friends. Meanwhile, Hong Kong singer Kim, who is also a street artist, shared with her the true story of how he saved the life of a girl by singing in the street. This reminded Jing Chang of her original intention in beginning a singing career and she determined to get a license and become a street performer. In June last year, she received the license, which is very difficult to get. So far, Jing Chang has shared her beautiful singing voice on the streets of Taipei City. Her actions demonstrate that she is not one to give up on her singing career.
A few weeks ago, Jing Chang received an invitation from the boss of the Riverside(a Taiwan Music Venue). Looking back on the experience of the past few years, Chang felt grateful for life, with its ups and downs, laughter, and tears. She decided to hold a concert to unfold her most profound experience on the road of music.
The concert consisted of nearly 30 songs. Jing Chang hoped to share with all her fans the memories of her music journey in the past twelve years.
Fans were very moved by her testimony. Someone left a message saying, "I have thought of giving up many times, probably I know Jing Chang’s feelings. Faith is always there to pull you back to life. Every time I listened to your songs I received power from them. After all you were my faith when I was young, although you are too far for me to get close, although across the strait. Do you remember when you were in the Massive Response (a reality show of Hunan TV), you had an asthma attack, but you still kept on performing. Now my life is also tough, but let's cheer together. We are always here."

四年未开售票音乐会的张芸京，2008年从选秀比赛『超级偶像』夺得冠军并出道成为歌手。然而成为歌手的这十二年来，星路并非一路都顺遂。
四年前，在亦师亦友的好姐妹蓝又时支持下，发行她自认人生当中「赌上一切」的个人专辑『失败的高歌』，然而之后事与愿违，期待能东山再起的她，却面临了八个多月没有工作上门的低潮。

走过死荫幽谷，面对这个被上帝『捡回来』的生命，张芸京重新检视自己的心，脱下艺人的光环与包袱，决定努力『求生存』。
因著好友的鼓励，也同是街头艺人的香港歌手黄剑文跟她分享，他在街上唱歌因而拯救了一个女孩子的生命的真实故事，唤起了张芸京唱歌的初衷，并立志要考取街头艺人证照，同时更在去年六月考取了录取率极低的台北市街头艺人。至今张芸京已多次在台北市的街头呈现她美好的歌声，用行动去表明她对于歌唱永不放弃的态度。
几个礼拜前因为河岸留言老板娘的⼀通电话邀约，让张芸京再次回忆起这⼗⼆年来珍贵的⾳乐历程，让原本并无举办售票⾳乐会计划的她，因著细细检视起过往点滴，尤其是从失败到巅峰再跌落谷底，惊觉曾经的苦痛酸甜，如今沉淀后，再回忆起都是无限感恩，于是决定来⼀场『京典回忆杀』，将这些年在⾳乐路上的最刻骨的经历重新呈现。
整场音乐会集结了超过20首将近30首的歌曲，诚意十足，希望带著所有的乐迷进入她⼗⼆年⾳乐之路的回忆中。
