On its official WeChat account on November 17, Changzhou Church in Jiangsu Province stated its reopening from that day onwards, reminding its members to attend the services and gatherings following the COVID-19 protocols, including showing the itinerary code and health code, having their temperature measured and registering their information while wearing masks. It also stated that persons with a high temperature or yellow or red health codes were forbidden to enter the building.
On the same day, Ulanhot Church in Inner Mongolia said that Thursday Bible study meetings and two Sunday morning services would resume from November 18. In accordance with the local requirements of pandemic prevention and control, the Sunday evening service and Saturday prayer meeting would continue to be broadcast live, it reported.
In addition to the continuation of onsite Sunday services from November 17, Agape Church in Chongqing also announced that it hosted a communion service on "Christ the King’s Day" on November 21, the final Sunday of Ordinary Time, requiring churchgoers to show health code before worshipping God.
