A county church in Hunan Province held a training course for preachers in the county to help them improve their ministry in different aspects.
From March 4 to 10, Huarong County Church in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, conducted the first workshop of the seventh session, with over 120 participants.
Leaders from the provincial and municipal CC&TSPMs and the county’s Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau delivered 50-hour lessons on topics ranging from legal regulations, healthy continuity of the church, exegetical preaching, the Corinthians, and communication skills.
Rev. Deng Peng, associate general secretary of the Hunan CC&TSPM, advised the attendees to learn from Nehemiah and consistently prepare themselves when dealing with the challenges of small groups in the church. At the same time, after learning about the issues that concern the believers in the group, the group leader should pray before the Lord and work together with Him.
Rev. Du Wenwu, chairman of the province CC&TSPM, stated that if exegetical preaching was used correctly, the truth would be preached properly since this preaching approach has sparked many revivals throughout church history.
During the training, it was mentioned that "1 Corinthians" is a "treatise of problems" in which the Apostle Paul's insights provide the solutions that the church needs today.
Rev. Chen Songmei, president of Yueyang Municipal CC&TSPM, guided the participants on communication techniques and principles.
On March 10, the graduation ceremony took place in Chengguan Church. Rev. Chen exhorted students to be God’s vessels and faithful shepherds of congregations, preaching the proper gospel.

湖南省一县教会举办传道人培训班，各方面提升县内传道人服侍水平。
3月4—10日，湖南省岳阳市华容县教会开办了第七届一期传道人培训班，共120余人参加。
省、市两会及当地民宗局领导为此次培训授课，授课内容分别为法制法规学习、教会健康传承、释经讲道法、哥林多书信、沟通艺术，共50学时。
省两会副总干事邓鹏牧师教导学员们面对教会内小组牧养的问题，我们应当向尼希米学习，不断装备自己。同时，在了解小组信徒的问题后，组长也应当凡事祷告，与神同工。
湖南省基督教两会会长杜温武牧师教导：释经式讲道若掌握得好，可以传讲真理；教会历史中多个复兴记录都是以释经式讲道来带动。
培训中提到《哥林多前书》是一本“问题专著”，使徒保罗的见解是现今教会需要的答案。
岳阳市基督教三自爱国运动委员会主席陈松梅牧师辅导了沟通技术和原则。
3月10日，培训班结业典礼在城关堂举行。陈牧师劝勉学员要做神合用器皿，做群羊的好牧人传讲正确的福音。
