A baptism was conducted on Sunday at a church in Jiangxi Province.

On August 27th, the fourth Sunday of August, the annual baptism ceremony was held at the temporary relocation of Jesus Church on Ping'an Road in Yichun City.

After the Evergreen Choir performed, Rev. Yi Zaizhong, chairman and president of Yichun municipal CC&TSPM, delivered a sermon titled "The Mark of Being Connected to Christ—Baptism". Citing Mark 16: 16 and Matthew 28: 19–20, he guided the congregation to understand the meaning and conditions of baptism, as well as the identity change after being baptized.

Pastor Yi baptized 12 followers of Jesus, including teenagers, girls, and elderly people.
