Nineteen Individuals Baptized at Zhejiang Megachurch

In the province of Zhejiang, a centenary church administered the rite of baptism to nineteen catechumens.

During the second Sunday service held on August 6th at Sicheng Church in Hangzhou, Senior Pastor Huang Mingke delivered a sermon titled "The Imperative of Spiritual Rebirth." Within this discourse, he expounded upon the transformative potential of baptism through the Holy Spirit, allowing Christians to experience a spiritual rejuvenation and leading to the acquisition of a renewed existence that granted access to eternal life as well as an intimate connection with the life of Christ, facilitated by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Subsequent to the sermon, nine adherents participated in the rite of baptism through the ceremonial application of sprinkled water, thereby also participating in Holy Communion for the first time in conjunction with their fellow believers.

Later in the day, an additional group of ten individuals pursued baptism through the act of full immersion.
