A delegation of the International Lutheran Laymen's League (Int'l LLL) paid a visit to Guangdong Union Theological Seminary.

The seminary on May 23 welcomed Mrs. Gunya Na Thlang, the Asian director of the league, and Rev. Jingcai Zhu, the league's Chinese ministry adviser, according to CCC&TSPM.

During the symposium, Rev. Xu Jieping, the president of the school, introduced the school mission, educational system, faculty team, student training, campus life, and the sinicization of Christianity. The visitors acquired a better understanding of the operation of the school and paid special attention to the supplementary courses and curriculum offered by the college for laypersons. In addition, they shared their experiences in the theological education of laity through the league.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to further promoting theological education in the future, particularly the development of theological education for lay people.
