CCC&TSPM welcomed a delegation from the Hong Kong Chinese Christian Churches Union (HKCCCU), the first time receiving visitors from outside the mainland since COVID-19.
Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairman of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), received the 13-member delegation from HKCCCU on March 14, according to CCC&TSPM.
Xu said that this was the first delegation that CCC&TSPM had received since the three-year pandemic. The two groups recalled the cooperation and friendship before and during the epidemic, and they felt so grateful to be reunited in the Lord again.
Rev. Shen Xuebin, vice president of the China Christian Council (CCC), hosted the symposium. At the meeting, both sides shared the ministry challenges of the post-epidemic era and communicated on how to promote further cooperation.
Pastor Xu explained the meaning of the Sinicization of Christianity, which is to tell the stories of Chinese Christians with China's socialist core values and integrate Chinese traditional culture without any comprise on Christian belief.
Rev. Chan Tak Cheong, chairman of the HKCCCU, expressed his gratitude to the CCC & TSPM for their reception and invited their fellow workers to visit the Hong Kong church.
The HKCCCU is a non-denominational Christian organization with a total of 397 church members. The association has a wide influence on the Hong Kong church and participates in local church ministries and social services.

据中国基督教两会,3月14日,香港华人基督教联会访问团一行13人访问基督教全国两会,受到中国基督教三自爱国运动委员会主席徐晓鸿牧师的接待。
徐牧师表示,这是新型冠状病毒感染疫情发生的3年多以来,基督教全国两会第一次接待来访团。双方回忆了疫情前以及疫情期间的合作与相互扶持的友谊,均表示主内再次团聚,加倍感恩!
中国基督教协会副会长沈学彬牧师主持了座谈会。会上,宾主双方就疫情后教会牧养过程中面临的挑战,以及如何促进合作进行了交流。徐牧师阐释了基督教中国化这一说法的缘起, 他表示,基督教中国化是在不改变信仰的前提下,以社会主义核心价值观为引领,用中华优秀传统文化来浸润, 讲好中国基督徒自己的故事。香港华人基督教联会主席陈德昌牧师对基督教全国两会的接待表示感谢,并邀请基督教全国两会同工访问香港教会。香港华人基督教联会是一个不分宗派、以堂会为会员的基督教组织。在香港教会具有广泛的代表性,并在香港教会事工和社会服务等方面有积极参与。
