A service was held to celebrate a centennial church’s relocation and reconstruction in Shanghai.
In Chongzhu Church of Chongming District on September 17, Rev. Geng Weizhong, chairman of Shanghai Christian Council, preached a sermon with the title "Build the Church in Love", citing Ephesians 4:1-16. He exhorted all believers to become new creations in the love of Christ and to have a new appearance and a new life because of the rebuilding of the church, the Shanghai CC&TSPM said.
The choir sang "United to Build Up the Church" with gratitude for the completion of the new church.
Relocated in Xiaogang Village, Zhoujia Lane, Chengqiao Town, Chongming County, the church spent three years building new buildings integrating worship, pastoral training, administrative work, and meetings.
With the foundation stone laid in April 2018, the new church was completed in February 2021. It serves as the general church for the parishioners in Chongming District with a total construction area of 3,671 square meters (0.9 acres).

新堂献堂感恩礼拜中，上海市基督教教务委员会主席耿卫忠牧师藉《以弗所书》4章1至16节的经文，以《在爱中建立基督的教会》为题证道，劝勉众信徒因着崇主堂的新造，要在基督的爱中，成为新造的人，在新的教堂有新的面貌、新的生活。据上海市基督教两会

崇主堂历时三年迁建，成为了集信徒礼拜、教牧培训、同工办公、会议为一体的教堂
崇主堂新堂于2018年4月奠基，2021年2月竣工验收。征用地总面积为4885㎡，总建筑面积为3671㎡。新堂由大礼拜堂，小礼拜堂和辅楼三部分组成，采取了大礼拜堂和小礼拜堂分开布置的方式。建筑从高处俯瞰形成了一个十字架与数字“7”并置的图案，大礼拜堂呈现为一个十字，小礼拜堂和辅楼形成“7”字形的格局。
