Shanghai Awards Certificates to New Pastors, Elders

2022年9月6日上午，上海市基督教两会举行新认定教职人员授证仪式。市基督教教务委员会主席耿卫忠牧师出席仪式，新认定的牧师、长老、教士20余人参加授证仪式。

耿卫忠牧师在讲话中指出：教职证的授证仪式标志着教职人员的教会性和社会性的“双重身份”，劝勉新受证的同工们，应从自我定位、团体定位、教会定位和社会定位四个方面有所认识。

Shanghai CC&TSPM held a certification awards ceremony for new pastoral staff.

More than 20 newly recognized pastors, elders, and preachers attended the conferring ceremony on September 6.

Rev. Geng Weizhong, chairman of the Shanghai Christian Council (CC), pointed out that the certificate recognition ceremony signified that pastoral staff had a "dual identity" of church and society and that staff members who accept the certificate should understand this from four aspects: self-positioning, group positioning, church positioning, and social positioning.

Representatives of elders and pastors receiving certificates took turns speaking.
