Jiangsu Church Hosts Commission Service for an Elder

6月19日是一个神圣而特殊的日子，江苏省南通市基督教两会、通州区基督教三自爱国会共五位牧师组成牧师团，同时前往二甲基督教活动点为负责人陆艳派立（事务）长老。

典礼由区基督教三自主席邱成牧师主礼，市基督教三自主席施成忠牧师证道。

施牧师以《五官端正》为主题，劝勉教会的守望者们要抵制异端邪教，崇尚清廉节俭教风建设，守住嘴唇，听取正确教义。

A leader of a town church in China’s eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province was ordained to be an elder last Sunday.

The pastorate consisting of five leaders of TSPMs in the city and district appointed Lu Yan in charge of Erjia Gathering Site in Nantong City as an elder on June 19. Pastor Shi Chengzhong, chairman of Nantong Municipal TSPM, gave a sermon titled "Have Regular Features". He urged the watchmen for the church to resist heretical cults, advocate honesty and frugality, set a guard over their mouths, and listen to the accurate teachings, according to Jinsha Church.

After a communion service, Lu received a certificate and books.
