In Guangdong, Shenzhen Municipal CC&TSPM issued new clergy certificates, holding a training course for the registered pastoral staff.

On May 20, 75 pastors and elders received new certificates in the auxiliary hall of Shenzhen Church, according to the official WeChat account of Shenzhen CC&TSPM.

Rev. Fan Hongen, chairman of Guangdong CC&TSPM, explained the significance of awarding the new certificates, and the importance of managing church affairs in accordance with laws.

During the certificate-issuing ceremony, Rev. Cai Bosheng, chairman of Shenzhen CC&TSPM, also led the pastoral staff in studying the regulations on religious personnel which had come into effect on May 1.
