Christian pop singer Jay Chou officially released a new music video in May 30 midnight and its dedicated to someone very close to his heart.

The Taiwanese media earlier reported that Chou's new album would be including a song which he dedicates for his daughter Hathaway. The newly released song, 'Lover from the Past' starts with the lines: "There is a daughter, her name is Hathaway. When she was four months old, she played a melody, I'm so proud of her. She... is my daughter."

Throughout the video, silhouettes showing Chou and his wife Hannah Quinlivan in their wedding and Hathaway's growth from childhood to adulthood based on Chou's imagination were featured.

According to reports and rumors, Chou developed the song using the notes Hathaway herself tinkled while playing on her toy piano.
