Activities were organized to commemorate World Book Day at the East China Theological Seminary.
On April 26, during the event co-hosted by CCC&TSPM and the seminary, Rev. Shan Weixiang, vice president and general director of the China Christian Council (CCC), gave a lecture titled "Shepherds and Reading," encouraging the faculty and students of the seminary to spend time alone with God and books, said CCC&TSPM.
As part of the event, CCC&TSPM presented a designed Bible exclusively created for the book fair at the seminary. Additionally, more than 150 types of books, including the Bible, spiritual literature, and publications on the sinicization of Christianity, were exhibited in the auditorium.
In the afternoon, a launching ceremony was held for the new edition of the Bible titled Trilingual Comparison of the New Testament in Chinese, Hebrew, and English.
During the book signing session, the book's editors Rev. Shan Weixiang and Rev. Xie Bingguo, president of East China Theological Seminary, shared their creative experiences and the stories behind their works in an interview with the host. Readers purchased books and eagerly awaited their signatures.
Furthermore, nine staff members and students took turns recommending noteworthy books published by CCC&TSPM, sharing their personal reading experiences. Following their participation in a knowledge-based question-and-answer activity focused on Christian books distributed by CCC&TSPM throughout the years, students received books and cultural and creative gifts.

世界读书日系列活动在华东神学院举办。
据中国基督教两会，4月26日，基督教全国两会联合华东神学院，在神学院内举行了读书日系列活动。
中国基督教协会副会长兼总干事单渭祥牧师为神学院师生作了题为“牧者与阅读”的讲座。单牧师鼓励大家“与神独处、与书独处”。
讲座后，单牧师代表基督教全国两会向华东神学院赠送了为此次书展特制的精美圣经。随后，同学们在神学院大礼堂阅览了基督教全国两会提供的一百五十多种图书，包括圣经、灵修、基督教中国化系列图书。
下午，在书展现场举行了《汉希英三语对照新约圣经》（简称《汉希英圣经》）首发仪式。
接着，作者联合签售会开始。读者们自购图书，等候单渭祥牧师和谢炳国牧师这两位牧者亲笔签名。单牧师和谢牧师接受了主持人访谈，分享了他们的创作经验和作品背后的故事。
现场还有九位同工同学先后向大家推荐基督教全国两会出版的好书，畅谈自己读书的心得。此后是围绕着基督教全国两会历年出版的基督教书籍的知识问答活动。问答后，获得了基督教全国两会赠送的精美书籍与文创礼品。
