After its release on September 18, "DNA" was reported to have broken records by becoming the fastest music video by a Korean group to reach 10 million, 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, 50 million, 60 million, 70 million, 80 million and 90 million views. It also recently gained the highest number of views in the first 24 hours among all the Korean pop group music videos.
The 100 million views of "DNA" was noted on October 12 at 7:24 p.m. reaching the biggest milestone within 24 days and 1 hour only.
BTS boke the previous record of Blackpink's "As If It's Your Last" which garnered 100 million views in 46 days.
Meanwhile, BTS achieved new Twitter milestone with their 9 million followers.
On October 12, the group garnered 9 million followers on Twitter, a month after they hit 8 million followers on September 5. BTS is reported to be the most followed Korean artist on Twitter and the only Korean artist to have at least 9 million followers.
