A church in China’s central Hunan Province shared details about its family ministries since the beginning of 2024 on social media.
In Chengbei Church, Changsha City, the youth fellowship has a series of courses named "Abundant Marriage," which consists of seven lessons. On January 19, Pastor Li Yuan taught the first lesson in the series taught. Topics covered so far include "Revisiting the Blueprint of Marriage" and "Understanding a Man’s Original Position and Value."
Singles Growth Group is led by teacher Wang Xuejun, and has discussed subjects like "How to Grasp and Regulate the Progression of Relationships", "Build Good Communication in Dating" and "Ways to Express Love." They also organized a tea party at the Lantern Festival, where participants engaged in singing hymns, playing joyful games, exchanging gifts, and discussing "How to Become a Spouse After God’s Own Heart" in groups.
The training class for marriage and family counselors commenced on January 7, having covered topics like "Functions and Roles of Counselors (Helpers)", "Establish Counseling Relationships", and "Listening Response". Senior Pastor Ren Xia hopes that participants in the training class will not only find happiness in their marriages but also assist other families.
Established in 1902 by the London Missionary Society and later rebuilt in 1917, Chengbei church, which can accommodate over 700 people, is the largest in Changsha province. It serves as the location for Changsha Municipal CC&TSPM, characterized by traditional Chinese architectural features: the hipped roof (Wudian roof) and the concave mansard roof. In May 2002, it was designated as a provincial preservation unit of cultural relics.

家庭婚姻辅导员培训班于1月7日开班，目前已经学习了“辅导员（助人者）的功能与作用”“辅导关系的确立”“倾听反应技术”“辅导关系的确立”等内容。主任牧师任霞希望培训班的学员藉此课程自己能婚姻幸福，同时也能帮助其它家庭。
该堂由英国伦敦会开辟于1902年，1917年重建。该教堂可容纳700多人，是湖南省最大的教堂，为长沙市基督教两会所在地。这座教堂采用中国传统的庑殿顶和歇山顶，2002年5月，被列为湖南省文物保护单位。
