Guangdong Union Theological Seminary Conducts Advent Prayer Meeting

在将临期，广东协和神学院师生参加了了一场主题为“愿你仰脸光照我们”的公祷会。

据中国基督教两会，12月6日，该场聚会在协和教堂举行，祷告环节包括了尊崇祷告、认罪祷告、宣赦文以及光照祷告。

在教堂内部，白色蜡烛象征基督的圣洁与临在，紫色和粉色蜡烛象征着警醒和等待。整个公祷环节，领祷员引导大家为世界和教会祷告，为执政者和本院的牧师、老师祷告，以及为个人的信仰坚定祈求。

这次公祷会特别采用了诗篇颂唱的形式，通过诗篇中的祷文和颂词，与历代圣徒共同祈祷和颂赞。

During the Advent season, faculty and students from Guangdong Union Theological Seminary participated in a prayer meeting themed "Make Your Face Shine Upon Us."

The gathering took place at Union Church in Guangzhou on December 6, said CCC&TSPM. The prayer session included adoration, confession prayer, proclamation of absolution, and prayers for illumination.

Inside the church, which was simple and solemn, white candles symbolized Christ's purity and presence, while purple and pink candles represented vigilance and waiting. Throughout the prayer session, the leaders guided them in praying for the world and the church, governmental leaders, pastors, and teachers of the seminary, as well as for personal faith.

Chanting the Psalms, attendees joined with saints of the past in prayer and praise.
