Songyuan Municipal CC&TSPM and churches in Jilin extended financial support to flood victims in Fuyu City, whose villages and towns had suffered significantly from the ongoing, intense rainfalls.

As a response to the appeal from the municipal CC&TSPM, subordinate CC&TSPMs as well as the local churches in Songyuan City mobilized and collected an amount exceeding 140,000 yuan in just a matter of days, according to CCC&TSPM.

Following on-site assessments, Songyuan CC&TSPM disbursed the donated money on September 1 to the afflicted families on four different levels based on the severity of the damage caused.
