Shanghai Churches Deliver Medicine to Flood-Stricken Hebei

据上海市基督教两会，8月4日，河北涿州地区受到强台风的影响，引发了严重的汛情。台风导致了广泛的洪涝灾害，给当地居民的生活和财产安全带来了严峻挑战。

得知涿州受灾情况后，上海市虹口区基督教两会设法打听到教会的联系人，从他们那里得知当地灾民急需相关的药品。虹口区基督教，为受灾地区，特别是面向保定市涞水县的灾民提供了紧急援助，选了肠胃药，藿香正气水，84泡腾片，医用双氧水，以及维生素C即刻送出，以满足受灾居民的基本医疗需求。

Shanghai churches supported Zhuozhou in Hebei, which was suffering from a flood disaster caused by a typhoon.

On August 4, Zhuozhou, Hebei, was attacked by a terrible flood after the heavy rainfall caused by Typhoon Doksuri. A large area of Zhuozhou was affected, where people’s lives and financial safety were under huge challenges.

Knowing from the local churches that people in Zhuozhou were in bad need of post-disaster medicine, Hongkou District CC&TSPM in Shanghai harshly went to prepare.

They collected some stomach treatment medicine, a Chinese herbal formula called Huoxiang Zhengqi, vitamin C, as well as 84 disinfectant chlorine effervescent tablets and medical hydrogen peroxide. The medicine was delivered quickly to Zhuozhou, especially to the flood-stricken area in Laishui County, relieving the urgent medical shortage in time.

Hongkou Christians will continue to keep an eye on the disaster situation, and further help is always ready.
