Joint meetings of churches in the Pearl River Delta region were held in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province.
During the meetings conducted by Guangdong CC&TSPM on April 14-15, Rev. Cai Bosheng, executive vice chairman of the provincial Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), gave a keynote speech on the topic of "Urbanization and Sinicization of Christianity in the Context of the Greater Bay Area Construction," reported CCC&TSPM. Cai shared how churches could play an active role in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from the perspective of the national development plan for the area.
During the sub-theme speeches, Rev. Wu Zhongwu, vice president and general director of the Guangzhou Christian Council (CC), gave a lecture titled "Continue the Contextualization of Christianity in China and Actively Contribute to the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Humanistic Bay Area—Taking the Guangzhou Church as an Example". Pastor Zheng Zhanchao, deputy secretary-general of Zhongshan TSPM, shared a speech on "The Linkage Between the Geographical Relationship of the Greater Bay Area and the Pearl River Delta Church", and Rev. Chen Yanqun, president of Huizhou CC, on "Explore the Efforts to Sinicize Christianity From the Historical Inheritance of the Pearl River Delta Church".
And a lecture titled "See the Sinicization of Christianity from the Perspective of Industrialization, Urbanization, and Internationalization in the Construction of the Greater Bay Area" was from Rev. Lu Hanqu, chairman of Dongguan TSPM.
After the meeting, the provincial preaching team carried out publicity activities on the indigenization of Christianity in China in eight churches in Dongguan, such as Taiping Church, Guancheng Church, and Shilong Church.

据中国基督教两会,广东省基督教两会于4月14日至15日在东莞市举行了主题为“大湾区建设与基督教中国化的探索”的珠三角地区教会联席会议。
会议由省基督教三自爱国会常务副主席蔡博生牧师以“大湾区建设背景下的城市化与基督教中国化”为题作主旨发言。蔡牧师从国家有关粤港澳大湾区的发展规划,分享了基督教在大湾区建设背景下如何发挥积极作用。
分题发言环节中,广州市基督教协会副会长兼总干事吴忠武牧师、中山市基督教三自爱国会副秘书长郑展超教士、惠州市基督教协会会长陈燕群牧师、东莞市基督教三自爱国会主席卢翰衢牧师分别以“坚持基督教中国化方向,积极助力粤港澳人文湾区建设——以广州基督教会为例”“大湾区地缘关系与珠三角教会的联动”“从珠三角教会的历史传承探索基督教中国化的努力途径”“从大湾区建设中的工业化城市化国际化看基督教中国化”为题发言。
会议结束后,部分省基督教中国化宣讲团成员在东莞8个教堂进行基督教中国化宣讲活动,包括太平堂、莞城堂、石龙堂。
