A church in China's eastern coastal Jiangsu Province held a memorial service for a believer, which is the seventh one this year.

During the memorial service held at Jinsha Church in Tongzhou District, Nantong City, Rev. Qiu Cheng said that when Christians with a true faith die, their funeral on earth is really their wedding in heaven, and on the day when they leave their loved ones, they are then united with the Lord.

He encouraged the deceased’s family members to respect and pursue the faith of their loved one, and to believe in Christ. He stated that the Christians would go to a wonderful place and that they could meet and live together with them as long as they believed in the Lord. He encouraged the participants to live for the Lord, to preach Christ, to live out Christ, and to glorify Christ, according to Jinsha Church.
