Fujian Megachurch Celebrates 105-Y-0 Woman’s Birthday

从闽南随子女来福州定居的蔡大姐，今年105岁了，是一位虔诚的基督教徒。

来福州定居后仍爱教会，每周主日都由子女陪同到礼拜堂礼拜。

近些年，老人身体状况随年龄增长变差了，以前的每一年老人的生日，她们的子孙后辈们都会给老人家祝寿。

鉴于今年抗非典型肺炎疫形势和老姐的身体状况较不好，子孙们决定不再为她举行祝寿活动。

福州基督教花巷堂探访部的弟兄姐妹得知情况后，主动与蔡大姐子女取得联系，商量决定今年蔡大姐的105岁贺寿由探访部承办。

22日，探访部兄带上祝寿的蛋糕和礼品，来到蔡大姐的家，为老大姐祝寿！

在蔡大姐的房间里，挤满了前来祝贺的信徒。

陈奕凤牧师以《孝与顺》为题证道后，引领众弟兄姐妹为蔡大姐祷告，齐唱《生日快乐》、《这一生最美的祝福》，并由牧师祝福。

福州基督教花巷堂是1915年建堂，探访部是该堂重要圣事工部门。

探访部配有专任牧师，以便使信徒更需要帮助、祝福，他们遵循“凡恒心行善，寻求荣耀”（罗马书2—7）做好探访事工，对探访人员名单造册，定时探访。

Sister Cai moved from the southern part of Fujian Province to Fuzhou where she lives with her children.  

She used to attend the Flower Lane Church every week with her children, but her health has worsened in the past years. 

Her children and grandchildren usually celebrate her birthday, but this year they decided not to congratulate Cai on her 106th birthday.

Hearing the news, the church’s visitation ministry talked with her children about holding a celebration. 

On Tuesday, her room was packed with people from the church who brought her a birthday cake and gifts. Rev. Chen Yifeng preached a sermon entitled Filial Piety, and led the participants in singing Happy Birthday and a hymn to bless her. 

Built in 1915, the church launched a visitation department, led by one of the pastors. The ministry visits people at regular time.
