On August 6, 2020, a church in Shenmu City, China's western Shaanxi Province organized a visit to a local nursing home.

According to the official website of Shaanxi Christian Site, Elder Yuan Xiulan of Shenmu Church led eight workers to visit Ma Town Nursing Home, distributing gifts to elderly residents there. The dean of the home, Hou Yesheng, received the visiting group.

The visitors brought gifts that cost more than 1,900 yuan, including breakfast cakes, pastries, rice noodles, and toiletries like towels and soap. It took them more than two hours to reach the home. Everyone immediately began to care for the 78 elderly people (the oldest is 93 years old, the youngest is 65 years old). Three workergave the elderly a hair cut one by one. The other workers brought water, washing the hair, feet, and clothes of the elderly, and trimming their nails.
