Churches in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Extend Care to the Needy During Festival

中秋节临近之际，广东、江苏教会举办慈善活动，践行“爱人如己”的信仰。

据惠州市三自爱国运动会，9月12日，基督教沥林堂教牧队伍在当地官方与志愿者的协助下，探访慰问二十户孤寡老人与重度残疾人，送去油、米和月饼作为节日的慰问。

据镇江市真道堂，中秋佳节临近之际，真道堂教会举办了五饼二鱼·中秋爱宴，为教会困难家庭的弟兄姊妹们送上节日的关怀。

作为真道堂传承多年的爱心活动，教会通过每年中秋佳节举办团契爱筵，旨在使弟兄姊妹能经历到教会就是属灵家园。同时，同工们也为困难家庭准备了中秋礼物。

Around the Mid-Autumn, churches in Guangdong and Jiangsu Province held charity events, practicing Jesus’ message of "love your neighbor as yourself."

On September 12, accompanied by the community’s staff and volunteers, the pastoral team from the Lilin Church visited 20 local families of lonely elderly and severely disabled with daily necessities and mooncakes as festival greetings, said the Huizhou Municipal TSPM.

Meanwhile, according to the host, Zhendao Church in Zhenjiang City held a love feast themed “Five Loaves and Two Fish" to send love to believers of needy families in such a reunion festival. In addition, church staff prepared Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for difficult families.

Aiming to foster a sense of spiritual home for the believers, Zhendao Church has held a fellowship and love feast every Mid-Autumn Festival, an annual tradition for years.
