Guangzhou Church Baptizes 32 Seekers

锡安堂2024年首期慕道班32位慕道友接受洗礼加入广州教会。

5月26日，锡安堂2024年首期慕道班32位慕道友在众弟兄姊妹、家人朋友的见证下接受洗礼加入广州教会。

洗礼仪式由本堂主任牧师何圣典牧师主持并施行浸水礼，黄正起牧师施行点水礼。

本期慕道班于1月14日开课，历经了四个多月的学习。在即将迎来洗礼前两小时的关键时刻，锡安堂首次为慕道友举行一场特别的祷告会进行灵性层面的深度操练，在黄牧师带领下，慕道友首次尝试以膝跪的方式进行集体禁食祷告，同时也首次集体参与到奉献礼的行列中。

同时，锡安堂2024年第二期慕道班现已开始接受报名，将于6月初开课。

A total of 32 seekers were baptized after learning in the first catechumen class 2024 at a Guangdong church.

With seekers’ family members and friends on site, Rev. He Shengdian, senior pastor of Zion Church, baptized the seekers by immersion on May 26, while Rev. Huang Zhengqi by sparkling, reported the church.

Beginning on January 14, this catechumen class lasted more than four months. The church held a special prayer meeting to deepen catechumens’ spiritual exercise for the first time, two hours before the upcoming baptism. The seekers kneeled down to fast and pray, participating in the dedication ceremony collectively hosted by Rev. Huang.

Meanwhile, Zion Church has begun its registrations for the second catechumen class, which will start in early June.
