As April 15 approached, marking the ninth National Security Education Day, churches in Guangdong, Xinjiang, and Fujian organized anti-cult propaganda events in advance.

According to the Guangzhou Union Church, the church presented an anti-cult propaganda video after morning service on March 31, with pastoral staff addressing questions from believers, revealing that cult organizations like the Eastern Lightning employ false promises and temptations to deceive the public, destabilize families and society, and even cause social unrest.

Urumqi Municipal CC&TSPM in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region held a conference on April 9 to deploy and mobilize measures to prevent and resist the "Almighty God" cult, reported CCC&TSPM.

From April 9 to 10, 116 pastoral staff attended a retreat and "Three Antis" training (anti-extremist thought, anti-heresy, and anti-infiltration) in Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, said the municipal CC&TSPM.
