Fujian Theological Seminary and Zhongnan Theological Seminary held the 2023 undergraduate thesis defense meetings.
During the thesis defense held at Fujian Theological Seminary on June 2, Professor Zhuo Xinping, the former director of the Institute of World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and a member of the CASS, was invited as the chairman of the defense committee. Undergraduates from the Department of Theology and Sacred Music participated in the defense, reported CCC&TSPM.
Following the completion of each student's self-report, the defense committee members commented on the thesis's content with questions, and the students then provided responses based on the thesis's content and the research field. In the first part of the self-report, each student elaborated on his understanding of the topic of the dissertation. Subsequently, teachers asked pertinent questions about the paper’s format, structure, and content, providing targeted suggestions for improvement.
On the same day, the 2023 undergraduate students also defended their graduation theses at Zhongnan Theological Seminary, involving a wide range of topics such as Bible studies, theological research, church history, Christianity and Chinese culture, and pastoral practice. After graduates presented their theses in turn, the reviewers asked pointed questions about the thesis in a strictly academic context. With the response from the students, the reviewing teacher offered comments on the graduates' theses with a view to further improving their work.

据中国基督教两会，6月2日，福建神学院举行了2023届本科毕业生论文答辩，邀请中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所原所长、中国社会科学院学部委员卓新平教授担任答辩委员会主席。神学系本科毕业生、圣乐系本科毕业生参加答辩。
本次答辩分为三个环节，第一个环节由学生对毕业论文自述研究情况，第二个环节由答辩委员对论文内容作出评议且提出相关问题，第三个环节由学生结合自己的论文内容与研究领域进行回应。在论文自述环节，每位学生阐述自己对论文选题的认知；随后，答辩老师从论文格式、结构和内容等多个方面、进行提问，并提出针对性的修改意见。

本届毕业生论文涉及圣经研究、神学研究、教会历史、基督教与中国文化、教牧实践等方面的内容，毕业生们依次进行论文陈述。评审老师从学术的角度就每位毕业生的论文进行针对性的提问，毕业生们应答。评审老师对毕业生的论文提出修改意见。
