Fujian Theological Seminary held the 2022 undergraduate thesis defense, attended by all the students of the graduating class and some from other grades.

The graduates were divided into four groups on July 8 to conduct their graduation thesis which was mainly divided into two parts. The first part was the student's self-reported research on the thesis, and the second was for the defense committee to comment on the thesis and ask questions, with students responding based on their thesis, according to CCC&TSPM.

With varied topics and different research directions, these dissertations ranged from biblical studies to the sinicization of church music and included research on holy communion and spiritual studies, as well as research on Christian bioethics and studies on the ideas of theologians such as Søren Aabye Kierkegaard and Jürgen Moltmann.
