Leaders from Hubei churches visited a “tiny church” in a mountain village in western Hubei.

Yusai Village Church in Mugua River, Yerengu Town, Fangxian County, Shiyan City began with the evangelism of an old female believer named Li Yuzhen, who is now deceased, reaching its largest gathering of about 90 people in the past thirty years. Xu Xiayun, chairman and president of Fangxian County CC&TSPM, sent pastors across the county to the church to give sermons on several occasions. After purchasing a house and applying for the legality, he obtained official approval in June 2019 and built a church within seven days with a capacity of about 50 people.

Pastor Zhu Zhiguo, chairman of the Hubei Provincial CC&TSPM and president of Zhongnan Theological Seminary, led church staff to visit the small church many times. When he first saw the church, he called the smallest church in Hubei the “miniature church”.
