A Jilin church’s staff paid a visit to a believer who was poor due to sickness.

Last Wednesday, along with three other staff, Peng Shourong, area pastor of the Dongcheng Branch of Nanzhan Church in Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan City, went to the home of a needy and sick believer named Xu Defu to show sympathy.

According to the church, it was especially difficult for Brother Xu to complete simple housework since he suffered from hemiplegia due to cerebral thrombosis for many years. Because he was poor and lonely, the pastor and staff of the pastoral area decided to regularly help him clean up his house.

After a morning of cleaning, the dusty furniture was neat once more. Seeing the bright new look on all his home items, he felt deeply moved and gave thanks to God.
