On November 22, the Century City Church in Kunming City, Yunnan Province reported that it had celebrated its 13th anniversary and held an ordination ceremony for eight deacons.
Based on Acts 6:1-7, Pastor Hu Qinxin gave a sermon entitled, "The Election of Deacons," explaining that deacons should be known to be full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit, according to the church. They also should be committed to the church and serve faithfully and effectively.
Following strict procedures, they ordained this group of deacons with two brothers, as they contributed a lot and were loved by pastoral staff and believers.
After the ceremony, Pastor Zhang Pifu, chairman of the Kunming CC&TSPM, encouraged the deacons to be wise trustees to assist the pastors and take care of every believer. He said that believers had the responsibility to pray for them and support their work.
Finally, Rev. Pu Yunshan, head of the church and deputy president of the Kunming Christian Council, exhorted the believers to follow the example of Jesus to serve the Lord and others diligently, in response to the Lord’s Grace with a grateful heart.
The pastors distributed Bibles with silver gilt edges as gifts to the newly ordained deacons.

据世纪城教会报道，世纪城教会举行了执事按立礼，按立了八名执事。

最后昆明市基督教协会副会长、世纪城教会负责人普云善牧师劝勉弟兄姐妹要以感恩的心回应主的恩典，效法耶稣的榜样，殷勤服侍主和服侍人。
牧师们为新按立的执事分发青花瓷圣经作为纪念品。
