Stream of Praise, the first overseas Chinese music ministry, organized a live chat room on the Internet, announcing their new album, "Hear Our Cry", to be officially released on major platforms on June 17.
The "New Album Release Live Chat Room" was hosted by Reverend Sandy Yu and Tiffany M. Cheng on the evening of June 16, sharing the stories of the new album on and behind the scenes.
Audiences from China, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, the United States, and other places, flooded onto the online platforms of Stream of Praise.
Comments read, "Looking forward to the new album", "Thank you for your hymns which give us much encouragement", "I don't know how to describe it, but I feel that every note is beating in my heart", etc.
Producer Sandy Yu, an American-Taiwanese singer, revealed that they spent more than half a year preparing and creating this album. It was not easy to have two teams in different places working together across time zones due to the coronavirus pandemic. In spite of the tedious experience they went through to re-record all the songs, they finally completed this "album production relay race".
She continued, "We need to raise the most profound calls of our generation to welcome God with glory and power, including the declaration of faith despite difficulties, and loud praise when encountering obstacles." The introduction of the new 2021 album on the official website of Stream of Praise read: "Let us move forward together with the faith of walking on the water, following the pillars of cloud and fire, in hope and promise!"

“对困难的信心宣告,遇见阻碍的大声赞美,这世代最深刻的呼唤,齐声欢迎神的大能荣耀降临。”赞美之泉官方网站在介绍2021新专辑《听见这世代的呼唤》时称:“让我们一起领受行在水面的信心,跟著云柱火柱,带著盼望和应许,坚定向前行!”
