Commemoration of Reformation 500th Anniv in Indonesia Scheduled, Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International

Initiated by the Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International (STEMI), the conference, in memory of the Protestant Reformation's 500th anniversary, has been scheduled in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, from November 14 to 20, 2017.

The STEMI ministry, founded by Stephen Tong in 1978, declared that the applicants should be born-again Christians above 20. The conference will be conducted in Messiah Cathedral, an Indonesian megachurch led by the famous Chinese evangelist Pastor Stephen Tong, in both English and Chinese. 

Born in Fujian, China, Stephen began to serve as a preacher at 17 and set up STEMI with Jahja Ling. In 1989, he established the Reformed Evangelical Church of Indonesia. His lifetime has been devoted to the Reformed Evangelical Movement.
