Cross Installed at the First Eastern Xiamen Church in Fujian

在有1万多名基督徒的福建省厦门岛东部地区的第一座教堂举行十字架安设仪式。

10月13日，厦门东部教堂举行十字架安设仪式。于2016年3月奠基，2019年竣工，东部堂的建设，极大满足了信徒的需求，也成为厦门一道风景。

仪式上，问安主礼后，施彤传道颂读始礼文：“我们应当因我们的主耶稣基督的十字架而自豪，因为我们的救恩”等。仪式还包括，东部堂传道人齐朗诵改编版《十字架前的缅想》散文。

朱贵金牧师指挥东部堂诗班献唱了圣诗《十架得胜》 ，李丽辉牧师祝圣十架后，十字架设立正式启动。之后，会众齐唱诗 《近主十架歌》礼成。

A cross-installation ceremony occurred at the first church that serves over 10,000 Christians in the eastern region of Xiamen Island, Fujian Province.

On October 13, the Xiamen Eastern Church held a cross-installation and dedication ceremony. As a landmark on the island, the church was constructed to meet the needs of the congregation, with its foundation stone laid in March 2016 and the structure completed in 2019.

At the ceremony, following the opening greetings, Pastor Shi Tong read the opening words: "We should be proud of the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, for our salvation." The church pastors presented a recitation of the adapted version of the Chinese prose "Remembrance Before the Cross." 

Pastor Zhu Guijin led the choir to sing the sacred hymn, "Hallelujah for the Cross." The official installation commenced after Pastor Li Lihui consecrated the cross. Concluding the ceremony, the congregation sang the hymn "Near the Cross."
