Urumqi CC&TSPM in Xinjiang held its 2024 mid-year work summary meeting.
A total of 105 pastors and deacons from across the city attended the meeting at Mingde Church on July 30, reported the municipal CC&TSPM.
Before the meeting, Pastor Wang Wenjun gave a sermon titled "Jesus is the Bread of Life" based on John 6:35, 41-51, reminding attendees to receive grace with faith in Jesus' invitation and to gain supply of life and the power to serve.

Following the study, pastors in charge of diverse departments of the municipal CC&TSPM (including the Management Department, Writing Ministry, Social Services Department, and Liaison Department), as well as the director of the Amity Nursing Home, respectively, summarized their work for the first half of the year. Cui Hebin announced the acceptance of Liu Jiesheng and Ren Guangwen, this year's seminary graduates, as clergy of Mingde Church.
