Shenyang Church Brings Cooling Foods to Senior Apartment

沈阳辽中教会酷暑到老年公寓送抗暑食物。

7月17日，辽宁省沈阳市辽中区教会的任传宇牧师和白玉娥牧师，以及同工，来到了辽中区恒财老年公寓，为那里的三十多位老人送去了瓶装矿泉水和当地新鲜的大西瓜，对抗酷暑。

院长赵恒财问大家：“西瓜甜不甜？”老人们异口同声地说“甜！”他们当中有几位九十多岁高龄的老人，其中一位九十一岁的老姐妹还大声发言，表示了愉快和感谢的话，欢迎他们的“儿子”任牧师常回家看看。

A church in Shenyang, Liaoning Province delivered heat-relief food to a senior apartment during the scorching heat.

On July 17, Rev. Ren Chuanyu and his wife Rev. Bai Yue'e, along with staff workers from Liaozhong District Church in Shenyang, visited the Hengcai Senior Apartment in the district. They brought bottled mineral water and fresh local watermelons to over thirty elderly residents to help them combat the heat.

Director Zhao Hengcai asked these aged people, "Is the watermelon sweet?" They replied in unison, "Sweet!" Among them were several seniors over ninety years old, including a ninety-one-year-old Christian woman who spoke out loudly with happiness and gratitude. They welcomed Reverend Ren, whom they referred to as their "son," to come back home often.
