TSPM church leadership attended the 2024 annual plenary sessions of the NPC & CPPCC in Beijing.
The second session of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) opened on March 4 and lasted for six days, with over 2000 members of the Standing Committee of the 14th CPPCC National Committee in attendance, said CCC&TSPM. Among them were nine registered church leaders, such as President Wu Wei of CCC, Chairperson Xu Xiaohong of TSPM, President Wu Weiqing of Beijing CC, Chairperson Zhang Keyun of Jiangsu TSPM, Chairperson Xu Yulan of Shanghai TSPM, President Gao Ming of Shangdong CC, Chairperson Jin Yunpeng of Hebei TSPM, Chairperson Fan Hongen of Guangdong TPSM, and Chairperson Pan Xingwang of Zhejiang TSPM.
General Secretary Shan Weixiang of CCC, elected as a representative of the 14th NPC (National People's Congress), attended the opening ceremony of the second session of the 14th NPC on March 5 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing until the closing ceremony on March 11. Nearly 3,000 representatives participated in this meeting.
