A temporary meeting point in Guangzhou, Guangdong, conducted an inaugural service.
As per Guangzhou Municipal CC&TSPM, on March 1, at the opening ceremony of a temporary place of assembly in Huajing Community, Tangxia Street, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, Rev. Chen Shuisheng, the executive vice president of the municipal CC and senior pastor of the local Dongshan Church, delivered a welcome address. Subsequently, Rev. Guo Yun, the chairman of the municipal TSPM, urged pastoral staff to provide tailored pastoral care based on believers' actual needs. He emphasized the importance of unity, preservation, and transformation among believers through pulpit messages and visitations. Rev. Guo also stressed the necessity of encouraging believers to stand firm against illegal religious activities, setting an exemplary role.
Following the opening service, congregations prayed for the first Sunday worship service at the venue, the continued operation of the church, and its growth at the prayer meeting.
With an accommodation capacity of about 150 worshippers at a time, the venue features a main hall, a choir practice room, and a reception room.
