In Shanxi province, located in North China, a male pastor was ordained.

Shanxi CC&TSPM assigned a pastoral worker named Luo Pengxiu as a pastor in Shuozhou City on April 23, reported the provincial CC&TSPM.

Rev. Zhang Enlai, president of the Shanxi Christian Council (CC), preached a sermon with the title "The Entrusted Shepherd," exhorting Luo to be a cautious shepherd with love that abounds more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.

Sharing his understanding of the office to which he has been called, Luo was laid hands on and received the stole, delivering a speech as the new pastor.
